Hello everyone, My name is Nurdiyana, and I am from Malaysia. I am only here for 2 years. It is a short but meaningful 2 years for me because I get to experience a lot of new things here.
After moving to Kitami, I get to experience a very cold and snowy winter. I was very shocked the first time I opened my window and saw a big cluster of icicles hanging from the rooftop.
I also met a lot of people from various nationality and made some friends along the way. This experience opened my eyes, and I learned many things from other cultures.They are similar but unique in their own way.
I am not good at remembering people's faces so that also make it hard for me to make new friends. But thankfully I am surrounded by good and friendly people. Along the way, I made many friends, and they made my life here more interesting and enjoyable.
Especially in winter, my friends and I will go snowboarding.Malaysia is located in South East Asia, close to the equator so there is no season there.
One of the most memorable experiences for me was during university festival. My friends and I opened a booth that sells various food from Bangladesh, Indonesia and Malaysia.It was tiring but we had fun preparing for it.
Lastly, I would like to thank all of my friends for making my life here enjoyable. Every barbeque event that was held, every time that were spent together doing fun activities such as karaoke hold a special place in my heart. I will treasure this memory forever. I would also like to thank all my teachers and the staffs of International Centre for every assistance throughout my 2 years here. I appreciate it with all my heart.
